The SAE International AWIM JetToy Competition in Columbus Georgia, supported by Kia Georgia

The AWIM volunteer at the AWIM JetToy Competition serves as an in-person resource for judging the competition, as well as a mentor/role model for students. As such, you will have the opportunity to influence and enhance the ways in which our youth learn STEM and essential 21st century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and communication.

***IMMEDIATE NEED***
Volunteers to work in person to support the AWIM JetToy competition at the Columbus Convention and Trade center on Monday and/or Tuesday, February 27th and February 28th.
Volunteers are needing for the following times:
- Monday, February 27th:
- 2:00 pm - 5:00pm: Volunteers needed for set up– (arrive anytime in this window to help for as long as you are able, mostly need assistance with preparing the tracks)
- Tuesday, February 28th:
- 8:30am: Volunteer Training
- 9:30am: Students Design, Test Build – general support and assistance for students
- 11:00am: Competitions – judges needed for all tracks, we are expecting over 250 students to participate
- 1:00pm: Tear down, starts immediately after students depart

8:30am: Volunteer Training
9:00am: Student Registration
9:15am: Welcome and Overview
9:30am: Students Design, Test Build
10:30am: Lunch
11:00am: Competitions
12:30pm: Awards Ceremony
1:00pm: Student Dismissal
