General Motors' HYDROTEC Fuel Cell Event
Wednesday, April 17
4:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Huntington Place
1 Washington Blvd., Detroit, MI 48226

In conjunction with WCX™ World Congress Experience, SAE members and guests will have the opportunity to hear a presentation from two key members of the General Motors' team surrounding the development of their HYDROTEC Fuel Cells.

This year is a watershed year for GM’s HYDROTEC fuel cell program. With a roster of collaborators in various industries and a new pilot program for medium duty trucks, GM is giving an exclusive look at the exciting world of HYDROTEC. The company just announced its hydrogen-based worksite ecosystem, centered around its fleet of medium duty fuel cell trucks, as well as a recently signed joint agreement with Komatsu to electrify their best-selling, 320-ton mining truck with HYDROTEC fuel cells. The company also announced the start of production at its fuel cell joint venture with Honda, Fuel Cell Systems Manufacturing, LLC, where the two automakers are commercially producing hydrogen fuel cells.

Join us at the General Motors' HYDROTEC Fuel Cell Event to learn about GM’s fuel cell strategy and get up close to several HYDROTEC properties, including the HYDROTEC power cube, the mobile power generator and the recently announced fuel cell medium duty truck as part of GM’s new pilot program with Southern Company.
