J.W. Speaker specializes in LED & other emerging lighting technologies and proudly design, manufacture & assemble their products in Germantown, Wisconsin.

J.W. Speaker’s history began in 1935, producing a variety of products including tire repair equipment, radiator fronts, car and truck mirrors, automotive lighting, and the P-38 GI can opener and Heatab miniature portable stove, which were widely used during World War II and for several decades after by the U.S. military.

In 1960, John’s son Jack guided the company to focus on production of original equipment manufacturer vehicle lighting, initially for lawn & garden and golf & turf tractors. Since then, J.W. Speaker has developed and specialized in manufacturing a wide variety of lighting products for other OEMs in agriculture, construction, on-road commercial, material handling, mining, motorcycle, recreation, and aviation markets.

Today, J.W. Speaker is still a family-run business and is led by John’s grandsons, Tim and Jamie Speaker.
