ATS convenes global thought leaders from the industry, government, and research communities to collaborate on the opportunities and challenges associated with all aspects of automated road transportation. During three days of Plenaries and Breakout Sessions, a Poster Session, and evening Networking Receptions, the Symposium provides updates on current research and policy developments, advanced engineering progress, and the transportation system impacts of field deployment results. It also includes a strong focus on vehicle automation-related issues impacting the U.S. DOT, and State and local safety regulators from around the world. ATS builds on a highly successful series of Symposia launched in 2012 (AVS and ARTS).
